Augusta Presents a Saturday Market on The Riverside

From the taste of freshly squeezed lemons for lemonade, smoke rising from the portable grilles, and karaoke-style singing makes locals clear there schedule every Saturday for the regular market season from April to October.
On May 11, 2019, alongside the Augusta Riverwalk in Augusta, GA., the fellow Augustans kicked off Mother’s Day weekend with the Augusta Market at The Riverfrom 8 AM to 2 PM.
The Augusta Market is a local event located in the downtown district of Augusta where the Market Director, Tim Hagar, shines the spotlight on what Augusta has to offer. Locals and visitors can guarantee they will find a unique variation of vendors, local bakeries and restaurants, and local artists and entertainers at the market promoting and selling their product off the shore of the Savannah River.

The local eateries like Crab King of Augustaand Southbound Smokehouseare present at the Augusta Market demonstrating on-the-grille gourmet style entertainment to lure locals and visitors to their business. After eating lunch and in need of a snack while waiting for dinner time to arrive, Taylor Lord, a Pie Holecrew member, suggests and promotes the baked goodies and savories they are selling.
“The Pie Hole focuses on freshly milled wheat where we only use organic ingredients for baking pies, cinnamon rolls, bread, and other baked goods and savories,” said Taylor Lord.
The Pie Hole crew showcased and sold one of their favorite pies, the Strawberry Rhubarb. They also baked and served their Pecan Pie, Kentucky Derby, and the Chocolate Chess, which is a brownie pie.
While the Augustans and visitors are trailing through the Augusta Market juxtapose to a scavenger hunt, they are witnessing the local musicians such as “Random Acts Party Band” performing their music live at their vending station or on stage. Random Acts is an audience-oriented band that plays top 40 and contemporary rock medleys.
